Houston SPCA Humane Education Programs
The Houston SPCA offers a variety of humane education programs to the youth of our community free of charge. All programs support our Mission Statement:

YOUTH PROGRAMS:
- FREE HUMANE EDUCATION LESSONS for school classrooms in the Houston area. We can schedule class visits to your school and present lessons to students from 2nd to 12th grade. These lessons address the TEA-recommended character education values, and many are aligned to state standards. Click here to learn about our education program.
- GIRL SCOUTS PAW PALS PATCH PROGRAM for all troops in the San Jacinto Area Council. Each level of scouting has an age-appropriate plan. On our GIRL SCOUTS page, you can download your Leader’s Packet for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes/Seniors.
- HOUSTON SPCA CRITTER CAMP, our day camp for kids who love animals, is scheduled all summer long and during our local winter and spring breaks. - FREE SHELTER TOURS are available to scout troops and other youth groups by appointment only. For information, click here.
- PARTICIPATION IN SCHOOL-WIDE EVENTS, such as career days, health and safety fairs, environmental fairs and other community-related programs.
