
Critter Camp
BREAKING NEWS! There is still space available for the 2009 Summer Critter Camp; especially for the Animal Kingdom Camps July 13-17 and August 10-14.
WHAT IS CRITTER CAMP??? For kids that love animals and those future veterinarians - this is the camp for you! Each day of camp will be filled with age-appropriate crafts, games, activities, and many interactions with shelter pets! Space is limited to 20 campers per class for each day camp. Fee includes all craft materials, and afternoon snack and drink. Campers must bring a lunch each day.
CRITTER CAMP INFORMATION Location: Houston SPCA Annex at 7007 Katy Road, Houston,TX 77024 Time: 9am to 3pm during Summer Break, Holiday Break and Spring Break.

CRITTER CAMP SUBJECTS: Animal Welfare Camp: Learning about the Houston SPCA, Take 'em to the Vet, Adoption Day & Small Mammals, Animal Issues & Exotic Animals, and Endangered Animals & How we can help
Animal Kingdom Camp: Fish, Mammals, Birds, Insects, and Reptiles & Amphibians
Dog & Cat Camp: Focuses on the characteristics and care of dogs and cats, activities include walking dogs, dog washing, and cleaning cages.
Tween Career Camp: includes activities such as walking dogs, dog washing, training, and visiting with cats as well as farm animals. Tween campers will also be introduced to several careers working with animals.
