Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. received a standing ovation following his speech at the 4th annual Animal Talk Luncheon. This year’s event, which took place on May 15th at the Hilton Post Oak Houston, was a tremendous success thanks to our wonderful donors, friends and volunteers. The DeLongchamps family, which includes Pete, Jana, Ryan, Maddie and Joey, received the 2008 Volunteers of the Year award. Animal Planet and VCA Animal Hospitals were also honored with the 2008 Media Partner Award and 2008 Community Partner Award, respectively.
Thanks again to everyone who supported this event! Later this summer we will announce the speaker for the 5th annual Animal Talk Luncheon in early May 2009.
