Remembering the Animals in Your Will
If there is any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not deter or neglect it as I shall not pass this way again. -William Penn
The
Houston SPCA, founded in 1924 is a leader in animal protection. Our
mission is to promote respect for all animals and free them from suffering,
abuse and exploitation. We are a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and
receive no funding from the government, United Way or other animal groups like
the ASPCA, HSUS or AHA. The Houston SPCA provides shelter to thousands of
animals each year, including dogs and cats, rabbits, ferrets and other small
mammals, birds, horses, farm animals, and exotic animals and we place 100% of
our healthy animals into loving new homes, with adoption partners or in
reputable sanctuaries.
Your
bequest, a gift from the heart, guarantees that our life-saving work
continues. Planned gifts are an important source of support in building a
sound future for the Houston SPCA. We gratefully honor the group of
individuals who include the Houston SPCA in their wills or other estate plans
by welcoming them to our Legacy Circle. Planned gifts like bequests,
charitable gift annuities, gifts of retirement plan assets or donations of
stock or real estate, give us the ability to be a safe haven and beacon of hope
for those animals who have no place to turn. Our animal friends give love
so unconditionally and completely. They are our best friends, but sadly,
so many of them have nobody but the Houston SPCA, our volunteers, and
warm-hearted supporters like you working on their behalf.
