The Houston SPCA is pleased to announce its 3rd annual iWalk For Animals event will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013. The iWalk was founded in 2011 as a “walk where you are event” to encourage people (and their pets!) to step out and walk in support of the Houston SPCA. This unique event is a way for animal lovers to support the life-saving programs and services of the Houston SPCA by walking ANYtime and ANYwhere they want on Sunday November 10th.
When: ANYtime Sunday, November 10, 2013
Where: ANYwhere you want! (Click here for lots of fun ideas on how to raise money for iWalk For Animals!)
WHY: There are more than 50,000 reasons why you should iWalk! The Houston SPCA and our subsidiary, The Wildlife Center of Texas, intervene on behalf of more than 50,000 animals each year, including cats and dogs, small mammals like guinea pigs and rabbits, horses and donkeys, farm animals, native wildlife, and even exotic animals like lions, tigers, and bears. We proudly place 100% of our healthy animals into loving new homes, investigate over 9,000 cases of cruelty each year and provide an injured stray animal ambulance 24-hours a day, every day of the year. Please register right now and join us as we step up to give orphaned, abused and neglected animals a second chance at life! #iWalk
