Permanent Full-Time Position

The Houston SPCA is seeking enthusiastic, energetic and dependable animal lovers to join our Client Care team. Client Care Team Members provide customer service support to community members interested in adoptions, admitting or needing general information on the services provided by the Houston SPCA. This position requires the ability to work in adoptions, admissions and the call center. Schedule will include weekends and evenings. Dependable attendance is a must. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: providing general information to the public in a prompt, professional and friendly manner; providing support to the adoption area including greeting customers as they enter the facility and directing them to appropriate areas; answering questions regarding adopting an animal, explaining procedures and protocols and handling money. Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment; great verbal and written communication skills; and be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
