THE HOUSTON SPCA AND BUNNY BUDDIES HOST A SPOOKTACULAR EVENT

Saturday, October 24th at the Pawty Place in Katy

The Houston SPCA and Bunny Buddies are teaming up to host a “Spooktacular Bunny Event” at the Pawty Palace in Katy  located at 1402 East Avenue on October 24th  from 11am to 5pm.  The event is being held to help find homes for the many rabbits that both non-profit organizations currently have in their care.  The staff at Bunny Buddies is dedicated to educating the public about house rabbits and their care, and like the Houston SPCA provides foster homes and adoptions for homeless rabbits.  All bunnies will be ready to hop home on the day of the event to approved adopters for the standard adoption fee of $30 dollars.

The Pawty Palace welcomes your altered, healthy bunny to come along to find a friend, hang out, play or explore the bunny mazes.  During the 6-hour event, there will be free nail trims, grooming, prizes, snacks, goody bags, bunny education to include bonding assistance along with your chance to find a new friend to take home by the end of the day. There will also be a costume contest for all bunnies who wish to participate with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ranging from awesome bunny toys to rabbit care supplies!

Bunnies make great pets and each has a very unique personality.  They can be litter box trained, actively seek attention and provide an abundance of love, fun and affection.  If cared for properly they can live in excess of ten years as they face fewer medical issues than dogs and cats.
