On Friday, March 30, 2012, more than 300 guests celebrated in style at the 2012 Houston SPCA Animals’ Best Friends Gala. Hosted at the prestigious Houstonian Hotel this lifesaving event raised nearly $500,000 to help the Houston SPCA give orphaned, abused and neglected animals a second chance at life!
The organization was thrilled to honor eight Houstonians, our 2012 Animals’ Best Friends: Doug Clarke, Bob Devlin, Jim Godwin, Bob Graham, Tommy Harper, Ryan Rice, David Smyth and David Welsh. These men have worked tirelessly to help our community’s animals in need through their dedicated commitment to and support of the Houston SPCA.
Dana Tyson from Sunny 99.1 served as Mistress of Ceremonies to the event which celebrated the Houston SPCA’s mission to promote respect for all animals and free them from suffering and abuse.
