A father’s love is one that gives us strength, support and prepares us for all that life has to offer. Help Dad and the entire family choose the adoption option this weekend at the Houston SPCA’s Father’s Day Celebration! From Thursday June 14th, through Sunday, June 17th, we are dropping our adoption fee on all of our adorable felines and canines (excluding those in the Spot Peabody Room) to just $20!!! Approved adopters can welcome up to 2 furry friends into their lives per household. We know dads give unselfishly, and a newly adopted furry friend will return that kindness with years of unconditional love.
Normal adoption fees for our canines and felines are between $65 and $150 and every adoption package, valued at over $400, includes:
- A health evaluation
- Initial vaccinations
- Rabies vaccinations for felines and canines 3 months and older
- Spay / neuter surgery
- Deworming; heartworm testing for canines 6 months and older
- Microchipping with free lifetime registration
- A complimentary overall wellness examination from VCA Animal Hospitals
- One free bag of cat / dog food courtesy of Hill’s Science Diet
The Houston SPCA is open 7 days a week, Monday through Friday from 11 am to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. For more information, visit our website at www.houstonspca.org.
