Get your car in gear and head down to the Houston SPCA this weekend because you could drive away with a new best friend.  All of our pets up for adoption are Certified Pre-owned Canine, Felines, and Small Mammals. The certification process for each animal involves an intensive four-paw medical inspection. Plus, all canines and felines will come with their first round of vaccinations and a rabies shot if they are 3 months of age or older.  This multipoint inspection also includes spay / neuter surgery and a microchip with a free lifetime registration.  In addition, VCA Animal Hospitals will provide a complimentary overall wellness exam to ensure that your furry friend’s motors will be purring, barking, and cuddling for a long time to come.

Adopting a pre-owned pet comes with so many perks. Many of our animals have lived with families and are housetrained, well-mannered, get along with other pets and have lived with children.  Our adoption package for all canines and felines are valued at well over $400. However, your drive out adoption fee for a canine will range anywhere from $75 to $150 while felines will be from $65 to $75!

Our lots are full and we are bursting at the seams.  All colors, makes and models, including new and vintage are available!  In addition, Hill’s Science Diet will provide one free bag of canine or feline food to help keep your pet’s tank running on full.

Our hope is that each and every homeless pet will leave the Houston SPCA with their forever friend and receive the second chance at life and love they deserve. The Houston SPCA is open 7 days a week from 11am to 7pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
